Mar N thanks.. BUT..

I am not sure if this is coincidence or not. But approximately 3 days ago maybe 4 I was at Jaycar buying some electronic stuff and decided to buy ANOTHER NEW Network Cable, even though i replaced them all about 6 months ago I got a new one again anyhow. I plugged that in and since then i have not gone offline and I also have had 95% stable pings, good download speeds and overall good internet.

So although i didn't think it possible for a cable that never gets moved around to go bad after a short time it seems they do.

And ping tests everywhere have been good EXCEPT.. If I am upload a large email or ZIP then all pings from 10.20.21.36 onwards show over 800 to 2000.

I will report back if there is any change.

So far all is now good.

Hi skozzy,

Good to know issue has been resolved. It could be the quality of the ethernet cable.

Reporting back, all is working well still. And yes the quality can be an issue, hard to say what is good and what isn't these days.
